This course enables learners to understand the concepts and framework of cost
accounting and to apply costing techniques in a manufacturing environment. It
develops the ability to prepare cost sheets, analyse material, labour and overhead
costs, evaluate wage and incentive systems, and construct and reconcile cost
accounts for managerial decision-making.
